My interest in art started at a very young age. I pursued a career in the teaching profession, which enabled me to share my interest in art. The experience of demonstrating new media and techniques to students or helping a student’s artistic ability mature and excel is particularly gratifying.

My interest in producing art brought me beyond the classroom into the professional arena. Since 2000 I have hosted 3 personal art shows, created a mural in the Post office in Saratoga and have displayed art at several business locations in the area including: Barnes & Noble (Saratoga), the Saratoga Wine Exchange, N. Fox Jeweler and Davidson Brothers Restaurant. 2003 marked a new milestone in my career with the opening of a studio/gallery called the Corner Gallery, located inside the former Troy Shirt Factory building in Glens Falls.

My subjects vary from action filled thoroughbred racing scenes to icons like the carousel in Congress Park and Spit & Spat. I also create panoramic landscapes and large portraits. I work predominantly with acrylic paint in a contemporary style, characterized by unique brush strokes and intense color.
